About Us

Jean and Joe Rodoski (pictured with Nikki and Abby) have had German Shepherds since l970. They both have an in depth understanding of the breed. Jean has been competing in obedience since l978. Joe started to compete in l992 and has achieved a Utility Dog title on his dog, Blu-Sky's Absolutely Spoiled, (Abby). He is now training J-Mar's Trust Your Instincts, CD (Risky) in Open and Rally.

As well as competing individually, Jean is a founder (along with training partner Debbi Snyder) of Obedience Plus!; a competition training group in Lakeland. Since it's founding in 1993, this group has produced 11 Obedience Trial Champions. Obedience Plus! has placed first in three DOCOF (Dog Obedience Clubs of Florida) competitions routinely held each year on Labor Day weekend.

Jean and Joe are also members of The German Shepherd Dog Club of America, The German Shepherd Dog Club of America Working Dog Association, The Tampa Bay German Shepherd Dog Club, Cool Critters and Imperial Polk Obedience Club (IPOC). Additionally, Jean is a trainer with IPOC and is a certified instructor with NADOI, the National Association of Dog Obedience Instructors.

Competing in all levels of agility, Jean has trained in with Wag'n Train Agility Group, IPOC and Cool Critters. Jean has finished three Obedience Trial Champion German Shepherds and multiple other obedience, tracking and agility titles - over 100 in all.
