      • #7 UDX leg for Skye

        Skye earned UDX leg #7 this weekend at DTCSP. We are preparing now for our state obedience competition on Labor Day weekend in Orlando. Both Skye and Liberty are entered in Utility. Looking forward to seeing all of our Florida obedience friends.

        This past weekend in Palm Bay, Skye earned her 6th UDX leg. Both Liberty and Skye showed in Open B and Utility B. Liberty earned a 3rd place in Open B. She was having way too much fun in Utility to qualify....but was fun for the audience! Me...not so much!!

        We attended the 10th annual CPE Agility Nationals this past weekend in Kissimmee at Silver Spurs Arena. It was awesome. People came from as far away as Nova Scotia...can you believe it? Of course, all of the northerners complained about the love bugs, fire ants, heat, etc., but everyo

      • Liberty earns Open FAST title

        Yesterday, Liberty finished her Open FAST title in agility with a 3rd place. Skye earned her 2nd leg with a 4th place.

        Agility will take a back seat to obedience for the summer. We will be out again in the fall competing in agility.

        Liberty finished her UD last weekend in Palm Bay. Today, Skye finished hers today in Eustis. Both girls have one UDX leg each. Now the fun begins!!

        Liberty now has her Versatility title in obedience. Skye earned her Excellent Jumpers title yesterday in agility.The girls are now known as:

        Dylan's litter mate, Diamond, earned her Tracking Dog Excellent title in California last weekend. Her owner and trainer, Sally Nesbitt, is very pleased.

        Liberty and Skye competed at the Indian River Dog Training Club last weekend in obedience. They each earned two legs towards the new AKC Versatility title. They also earned placements...2nd and 3rd.
        Versatility is a class consisting of 2 Novice, 2 Open and 2 Utility exercises. There are 12 v

        Luger (Solo/Skye litter) attended a SAR seminar in West Virginia last week. There was a proficiency test and out of 17 dogs, only 5 passed. Luger PASSED.
        Dogs had to locate and alert on a placenta that was buried 2 feet deep 4 years ago. They had 15 minutes to find it...he did it

        Liberty competed in Utility B this weekend and earned her first Utility leg. She also competed in Wild Card Utility (non-regular class) and earned first place. Skye also competed in Wild Card Utility and earned 4th place.

        Skye completed her Open Jumpers title in Perry last weekend. She advanced to Excellent and qualified the first time in Jumpers.

        Liberty showed in Perry also and qualified in Jumpers runs. She now has MX and MXJ legs...needs about 6 more for the title.

        Skye finished her Novice JWW and Novice FAST titles early this month at the Tampa Bay GSD agility trial. She also was hi scoring GSD! We had fun.

        Puppies are growing fast. Today they all received new collars. Now they look like "real" dogs.

        I am sad to say that Nancy Wyant told me Sam (My Destiny of J-Mar) has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. He was eleven. He was Nancy's first agility dog and a wonderful German Shepherd. I am sure he is now running like the wind with Nikki and Luke.

        We competed last weekend at the Lakeland Civic Center at DACOF (Dog Agility Clubs of Florida) for Cool Critters. Our teams did very well. Dylan earned a 2nd place and Liberty a 3rd place in the FAST division. Air-conditioned and running on dirt..what could be better in Florida?

        Dylan earned 2 more UDX legs this weekend bringing him up to 7.

        Skye placed 2nd in Novice B on Saturday and 1st today with a score of l97. She also had a run off for High in Trial against a member of the AKC Crufts team. We lost, but had fun trying.

        In Ocala today at the MADTA agility trial, Libby earned her first Excellent JWW leg with a perfect run and received a second place. We are back tomorrow to see if we can finish that Open Standard title.

        At the Agility Trial in Palmetto today, J-Mar's Liberty completed her NAJ and J-Mar's Little Drummer Boy completed his NA. Both dogs earned 1st places.

        These beautiful two dogs are the GSDCA High In Trial dog (OTCh J-Mar's Hot Stuff, UDX 5, NA, NAJ) owned by Jean Rodoski and the 2006 GSDCA Obedience Victrix (OTCh Galli-Curci Vom Mika-Ashmead, UDX) owned by Amy Vose. These two dogs are cousins which made the wins very special to us.
