Liberty and Skye competed at the Indian River Dog Training Club last weekend in obedience. They each earned two legs towards the new AKC Versatility title. They also earned placements...2nd and 3rd.Versatility is a class consisting of 2 Novice, 2 Open and 2 Utility exercises. There are 12 variations of the class which keeps things interesting. ![]() Luger (Solo/Skye litter) attended a SAR seminar in West Virginia last week. There was a proficiency test and out of 17 dogs, only 5 passed. Luger PASSED. Dogs had to locate and alert on a placenta that was buried 2 feet deep 4 years ago. They had 15 minutes to find it...he did it in 5. We are so proud! Monday, June 22, 2009, 07:10 AM
Liberty competed in Utility B this weekend and earned her first Utility leg. She also competed in Wild Card Utility (non-regular class) and earned first place. Skye also competed in Wild Card Utility and earned 4th place. Back Next |
