Meet Our Dogs
Not only do we breed and train dogs, but they are our friends too. Currently we have 7 friends living with us.
OTCh J-Mar’s Dulcimer Legacy (Dulci)
OTCh, U-UD, UDX6, HS
Dulci is in her 14th year. She is still doing well and enjoying life. Dulci is retired from competition in obedience, agility and herding. She is our first home-bred OTCh and the memories of her competition days are very special. We cherish each day she is with us.
OTCh J-Mar’s Hot Stuff (Spice)
UDX5, NA, NAJ
Spice was 11 years old in November 2009. She is our second home-bred OTCh and earned a High In Trial with a 199.5 at the German Shepherd Nationals two years ago. She is now retired from competition while I concentrate on training her daughter and grandson. She is still as bouncy as ever and always ready for a ball throw.
J-Mar’s Trust Your Instincts (Risky)
CDX
Risky earned her CDX and retired from competition to become Joe’s Therapy Dog, certified with Therapy Dogs International. They regularly visit nursing homes, cancer centers and hospitals where they are a popular attraction. Risky has her very own fan club among the residents.
PAM J-Mar's American Dream (Dylan)
UDX, TD, MX, AX, AXJ, NF
Dylan completed his upper level obedience and agility titles. He is also a certified Therapy Dog with TDI. Joe alternates weekly visits between the two dogs. They look forward to the routine bath and grooming before these visits when they realize it is their turn to go into town this week. Dylan is a very big hit on these visits and thoroughly enjoys the attention.
J-Mar’s Ticket To Ride (Skye)

Skye is currently training and showing in both agility and obedience. She is working in the upper levels of both venues. Skye traveled to Ohio to compete at German Shepherd Nationals and came home with a second place and qualifying scores in agility and obedience.
J-Mar’s Liberty (Libby)

NF, NJP, TC
Liberty is also currently training and showing in both agility and obedience. She is working on earning MACH points in agility and a UD title in obedience.
J-Mar’s Slyde In Under The Radar (Slyder)
Slyder is from our last litter; he is a Solo son. He turned 2 years old at the end of October 2009. We are currently training in agility and obedience. We are looking forward to beginning his show career shortly.
