J-Mar Shepherds offers a variety of services focused on helping you get the most from your pet. From exquisitely bred German Shepherd puppies, to full board and train services, we are looking forward to serving you and your pet. We offer a “Vacation for Your Dog!" while you are away on vacation, or as an alternative to attending training sessions with your pet. Most of our clients tell us that the dogs get excited as soon as they realize they are approaching our home. We emphasize a home-like environment with attention to individual needs.

We are located on 5 fenced acres, with ample training facilities. We have both an indoor, air conditioned facility and outside runs. The dogs are housed in extra-large crates when indoors. Outdoors, we have shaded kennel runs with Igloo dog houses. However, all dogs are kept inside during hot and inclement weather. During the times they are kept inside, they are taken outside at least five times a day for exercise. We have four separate fenced areas in which your family member can get plenty of play time.

Jean and Joe Rodoski have been involved with German Shepherds since l970. They both have an in depth understanding of the breed. Jean has been competing in obedience since l978 while Joe started to compete in l992. He has achieved a Utility Dog title with his dog, Blu-Sky's Absolutely Spoiled, (Abby) and a CDX on J-Mar's Trust Your Instincts, (Risky) who is also a therapy dog.
